A good looking, substantial feeling clock, and the best part is that it's quiet. No "tick tick tick" as it moves. It does not have a sweep hand, which doesn't matter to me, but might bother some people.

I had this clock on my wish list 2 years ago because the kitchen clock we had kept losing time, and was having a great feast on our batteries. We received it for Christmas, put the battery in, put it up, and held our breath. But for over a year and a half it kept perfect time. We only recently replaced the battery because I commented to my husband that it seemed to be (slightly) behind in time. We got it in red, to go with our red retro kitchen dining set, and it is quite attractive on our wall. Also, it is silent, which also pleases us. (Enough noise with the cockoo in the next room! Yes, a clock. My husband does not want you to think I am referring to him.) We are extremely pleased with this clock in all respects, and if it were to quit, we would hurry to replace it with another of the same.
